​19th C. Decorated Keepsake Box

This wonderful early keepsake or document box is adorned in a vine and leaf decoration with pin-striping on a yellow ground.  Its interior is fitted with a slide-lid compartment that is divided into three sections.  The top of that lid is signed "Miss Lilian (Smith?). Bath Me - May 12th 1884". It measures 12" in diameter by 8" deep by 3 1/2" in height.  In very good condition with minor surface abrasions consistent with age and use.
