​Early Lined Footed Basket

This fine little footed basket is finely woven, with two handles, with the staves continuing down to form feet.  It is lined with what appears to be an early silk material.  This was most likely used as a sewing basket due to the lining.  It has a wonderful aged patina.  Measuring   " long by   " deep by   " tall (to the rim).  A nice early example!  Third quarter 19th C.
