Diminutive Pennsylvania Childs Chest
This fine little dovetailed chest sits on a bracket base. Made entirely of pine with an interior, lidded till. The top has an applied edge molding. It is in very fine condition, with the exception of a missing lock and minor surface wear (mostly on the top) that is consistent with age and use. There is some pencil script on the interior of the lid that I have not been able to fully transcribe, except for the last name of "Miller". Obviously made for a child, it measures only " wide by " deep by " tall.
A wonderful little chest! Ca 1840s.
